Conceptualization of social engineering in K. Popper’s philosophy

The article considers the formation of the concept of social engineering in modern scientific practices. The research focuses on the analysis of the philosophical theories of the humanity historical development by K. Popper, who, in fact, developed the theory of conceptualization of the concepts of social engineering / social technology and their fixation in the field of humanitarian schools. The main emphasis in the process of studying the stated issues is placed on the significance of communication and communicative technologies in the socio-engineering reality modelling. The study introduces the general scientific context of K. Popper’s work, which was not in the centre of Ukrainian scientists’ attention for a long time. The research represents new communication “cuts” of the concepts social engineering / social technology. The analysis of K. Popper’s social engineering theory was carried out taking into account the historical specificity of the researcher’s present time, which became a reflection of the social reality of the Second World War period.
