Control of printing process stability in a narrow web UV-flexographic press

The article presents the research of the colour reproduction stability in the printing process by UV-flexographic printing and the analysis of the results obtained using Shewhart control charts. The anomaly of the researched ink viscosity has been defined and a decisive influence of viscosity changes on the colour reproduction stability has been proved. Based on the studies, practical recommendations have been made for ensuring the quality of UV-flexographic imprints.
