Main criteria for identifying dynamics of online television development

The article provides a comprehensive analysis of domestic and foreign publications with regard to potential criteria for evaluating the performance of traditional and Internet television. Both, a short list of criteria and an extended one, have been compiled for their possible application while determining the dynamics of media development or comparing the stages of development of several media at once. Each of the criteria provides an explanation to its influence on the TV channel performance and other indicators. The notion of «quality television» and its main features have also been examined in the paper.
