Media education of publishers in the digital technology epoch: actual problems of professional training

The key concepts of media education as important professional skills of media professionals, in particular, publishing specialists, have been characterized; the basic terms have been specified; the concept of «media education of the publisher» has been introduced. The articles emphasizes those characteristics of media competence, which became of particular importance in the context of digitalisation of the information and communication processes, in particular media creativity and media accuracy.
