Peculiarities of online television in the context of journalist and editor’s activity

The article provides an overview of national and foreign research papers dedicated to distinguishing of specifics of online television from traditional media. Based on the previous researches, the author offers his own list of peculiarities of the Internet television with regard to professional journalists and editors’ work. The author comprehensively justifies the significance of each of the peculiarities and defines its key differences from the traditional television. Proposals regarding a practical implementation of the projects in the sphere of online television based on the described peculiarities are also elaborated.
