The stage of adaptation of a multimedia application for a specific user is considered. The classification of types of multimedia interfaces on dual education at different levels of interaction is carried out. The definition of the adaptive user interface, namely its textual and graphical varieties, is formulated. Features of designing adaptive interfaces are revealed and the scheme of realization of adaptive interface of multimedia application on dual education is developed.

Features of user-oriented interface optimization models are analyzed; on the user’s tasks and the user’s motives. Many environmental factors that affect the use of application interfaces are identified. Features of adaptive interfaces of dual education applications are described.

Different approaches to the concept of adaptation are considered. The study suggests that the dual education system is easier to adapt if there is a prototype user, whose features are his ability to perceive the information in certain ways. The organization of graphic elements plays an important role in the effective interaction between the consumer and the application. The attitude of the user to the interface is the main indicator of the interface quality, but the work on the interface is impossible without studying the characteristics of the audience. The system should provide certain characteristics that contribute to the ability to classify the user, take into account psychophysiological characteristics, and so on. Specific principles of design of adaptive interfaces are described, such as the principle of taking into account the peculiarities of perception of a particular type of information. To construct a user library, one must take into account the features of each of the described models.
