The article deals with characteristic changes in the educational process in connection with the development of information technology. It has described the role of electronic media in the educational process and tool changing paradigm of the development of technical equipment for content. It has analysed the features of specified e-content and defined the multifunctional nature of the use of electronic educational e-books on the example of Artem Zakharchenko`s interactive textbook “Internet Media”.
