Information campaigns in online social networks, typology and classification

The article deals with the study and the specific characteristics of planning and implementation of information operations in online social networks and their classification. It considers the previous developments regarding the raised question by both domestic and foreign researchers. The classification of information campaigns has been presented with examples of events that has taken place in recent years in Ukraine, the Russian-Ukrainian information war and internal political confrontations. The necessity of further development and implementation in practice of algorithmic systems of management processes in information and communication activities in online social networks has been defined.
