The important constituent of preprint processes of preparation of book editions is the process of the edition recording on a material carrier. It reproduces the quality indexes (or defects) of publishing original, introduced on the stage of planning and layout, on the other hand it directly influences the printing quality. The development of models that will represent the logic of forming of the process quality of a future book edition recording on a material carrier for further printing processes is implemented at informative level, as it makes possible to use of modern means of the theory of fuzzy sets to research the influence of the technological factors on the publishing processes, set not only by numerical values but also language means named linguistic variables.
The mentioned direction is oriented to the application of fuzzy logic, the means of the theory of analysis of operations, semantic networks and analysis of hierarchies, and in recent years it actively develops and proves its efficiency in the area of development of information technologies for providing of publishing and printing processes quality. The methodological bases of information technologies of forming and predictive evaluation of book editions quality have been formed, the models of priority influence of factors on the processes of forming of the quality printed products have been synthesized, a mathematical tool for design of factors ranging processes has been worked out, a general approach to the creation of information technologies of quality forming of processes of book editions planning has been described, a semantic network of factors of influence on the quality of the printed process has been designed.
There are a lot of publications on these subjects, it is however possible to assert about a presence of insufficiently studied components of the information database in general technology of preparation and production of book editions and processes, oriented to the formalized representation of connections between the factors of influence on a certain process. It is possible to refer to it a less studied process of recording of edition on a material carrier that stipulates the actuality of the task, oriented to the study of influence of the certain factors the connection between which are formalized by linguistic terms in the environment of semantic networks. Taking into account the indicated informative base, the ranges of factors are set and the synthesis of multilevel model of priority of their influence on the quality of the edition recording on a carrier is done.
As a result of the research, the formalized representation of a set of factors of the process of the edition recording on a material carrier has been carried out. A semantic network has been designed and described by means of the language of predicates for graphical and linguistic representation of connections between factors that influence the quality of the studied process. On the basis of the method of design of hierarchies, the priorities of factors have been determined, and for this the matrix of pair comparisons has been constructed and worked out. A multilevel model of priority influence of factors of forming of the process quality of the edition recording on a carrier has been synthesized.
